nmainguy
Going to the Heights tomorrow night with the family. Any suggestions for good inexpensive family restaurants in the area? Andy's-Mexican; Berryhill-both on E 11th, Spanish Flower on N. Main. Collina's-my favorite Italian in the Heights. It's BYOB wine because it's in the dry Heights. http://www.collinas.com/ Shade on W. 19th-not especially family but very good. http://www.shadeheights.com/index.html I'd go for Collinas, if I were you. [maybe because I'm needing a close-by Italian fix!]
pineda
Thanks so much! I was reading about Andy's and Collina's earlier and they both sounded good. Now, after reading the menu for Collina's, I think we'll go there. Maybe we'll see you there, NMG!

They have been there almost as long as I've been alive But Collinas is a great place...I would be there to join you but I'm afraid Friday nights is when I attempt to frisk my buddys in poker while we dine on really bad take-out pizza. Speaking of-try the Pollo Pizza-mmmmmmmmmmmmm
