Gary Mosley, owner of the Creek Group (Onion Creek, Canyon Creek, Cactus Cove, Piggy's), purchased the property earlier this year. Mosley is seeking a tenant for the space; ideally a retail, convenience store, or restaurant. The property has been available for lease for a while. I think it was unlisted on Loopnet either in January or February. Of course, an unlisted property is not always an indication of a sale or lease. A trade name was filed for The Next Door Bar and The Deuce. 2418 Yale St is the listed address of operations. The Next Door operated at 2020 Waugh Dr prior to the COVID pandemic. It relocated to Shady Acres Saloon soon after. I think the owner of The Next Door Bar is also the proprietor of Shady Acres Saloon. Maybe The Next Door is relocating to 2418 Yale St? Billed as a pizza bar, The Deuce is located at 2418 Yale St. It is the latest nightlife concept from the proprietor of Shady Acres Saloon.
