Talbot
It was an awesome game. I thought we weren't going to make it since we were cutting it so close. But leave it to good ole' Vince Young. He's great, the whole teams great.
Parrothead
That was hands-down, the best game I have ever seen! I thought my hubby (UT '91) was going to have to change his shorts!!! That win more than made up for the disappointing World Series!
WestGrayGuy
As an aggie, I will say congratulations. It was a very impressive game. Mack Brown is a good coach.
Watchful
I'm a Coog who is still trying to be "Anti-Big 12" so I tried to root for USC.By the end of the game, I had given in....I just couldn't root against Vince and company. It was an amazing game!
WestGrayGuy
Why anti Big 12? The big 12 has done a lot in its 10 year history. BIG 12 CONFERENCE
DJ V Lawrence
I still think the Longhorns will be the national champs next year without Young. If they find another solid quarterback, that is. Their team line wise and defensively are stacked, experienced, and ready to go next year. hartwell
My brother loves the Longhorns, even has the "Longhorn jacket"!We have a photo of both of us sitting astride a longhorn steerwhen we were kids outside of Houston! Ann Richards and Co basically screwed UofH out of the new big XII by getting her alma Baylor in (Speaker of the House was a Bear also). The folks in Oklahoma were even more entertaining during the game LOLCiao, and Hook 'em Horns,Capt-AWACS, Watching you from 30,000 feet

lockmat
Glad to see we have some Horns fans in here. FYI for all you Texas fans: Ramonce Taylor is foregoing his final two years of college and entering the 2007 NFL Draft. Is anyone else stoked? This guy was so sick it's unreal. He is/was better than Jamaal Charles, that's how good he was. http://www.bevosports.com/2007/01/07/ramon...nter-nfl-draft/ Ramonce Highlights: Edited January 16, 2007 by lockmat
Spades
EH. I don't know. I think Jamaal is better. Romance was good. But as a complete running back, Jamal is better.I think Texas has another special season in the next couple years due to experience. Shoot for 2009. But as a complete running back, Jamal is better.I think Texas has another special season in the next couple years due to experience. Shoot for 2009.Maybe. It's very debatable. As a pure RB, you're probably right, Jamaal is better; he truly is a RB and is great at making people miss and breaking tackles. I guess Ramonce was a little more versataile though as he was used like a WR at times.Ramonce(2005):ReceivingNo 27Yds 265Avg 9.8TD 3RushingAtt 76Yds 513Avg 6.8TD 12Jamaal (2005)ReceivingNo. 14Yards 157Avg. 11.2TD 2RushingAtt 119Yards 878Avg. 7.4TD 11Stats from their one and only year they played together.Of course, Jamaal shared time with Selvin this past year too, but his best year so far was his freshman year. This is not necessarily a case for Ramonce, I'm just presenting the facts so we can observe.
