Mark Resident Posted November 24, 2021 Share Posted November 24, 2021 Just a passing observation about the property across the street. 3535 Sage Road has a big for sale sign advertising 8.2 acre tract of land for sale. That’s pretty big chunk of land for this area. Also just south of 3525 Sage condos. Right now there is an abandoned two story commercial bldg along with a really big ugly parking lot. ultimate_ed Posted September 21, 2022 Share Posted September 21, 2022 I used to work in these buildings. Originally Foster Wheeler's back in the 80's before S&B bought them. We moved out to a new location in the energy corridor just before the pandemic. Owners had plans to redevelop the site, but I think the whole pandemic lead them to put the property up for sale instead. Just thinking about the land play here. 8.3 acres of land next to the freeway, and at the western edge of the Uptown Market. I could see a mixed-use district here. "Entrance to The Galleria". ultimate_ed Posted May 5 Share Posted May 5 Pictures from this weekend. My friend and I used to work in these buildings, so we swing by them on occasion when out cycling. The first building "D" is completely gone. Building "E" is currently being demolished and that's what is in most of these pictures. As I understand it, the building that is being demoed now was built first and the other added several years later. We noticed there is a big difference in the construction. E is all reinforced concreted columns and floors and they are using a jackhammer to bring it down. Highrise Tower Posted May 19 Share Posted May 19 The former S&B Engineers office building complex has been demolished. I saw all the site materials and construction vehicles into a corner. Does that mean they are leaving the concrete pad foundation as-is? A photo I took of the concrete pad and a few steps. The only remnants remaining!
