Subdude
Photo 3 is the Block 265 proposal. Another rendering here. Photo 4, the Bank of the SW building, will not be built. A lot of these were never built because of the bust in Texas in the 1980s.

Given the recent merger, I am not sure what the current/future naming of these buildings is/will be. Photo 7/8: Although I am torn, I have to say that I like the Chase Tower in Dallas better. The tower in Houston is more architecturally significant (height, architect, etc.) but kind of boring, actually. The tower in Dallas is more interesting and definitely unique. TxDave
Chase TowerWith the Chase/Bank One merger, there was a lot of speculation as to where the combined company would be located in Dallas - both were located in very prominent downtown towers.Chase recently announced that all employees would be consolidated in JP Morgan Chase Tower ("keyhole" building in photo#7) adjacent to the Arts District. No announcement has been made regarding Bank One Center, particularly its name. The tower is located in the heart of downtown on Main Street - across from Forest City's redevelopment of the Mercantile Bank building (and ancestor of Bank One in Dallas).
