MidtownCoog
Nice gesture, but sure would be more effective to give money to the source, and cut out the middle man.
TJones
Nice gesture, but sure would be more effective to give money to the source, and cut out the middle man. Judging by the restaurants who are involved, it seems this will be a legitimate deal. The restaurants involved are even describing what they are going to do,some are doing 100% profit, some are doing less, which I think leaves it up to the consumer if you'd like to dine with them using their proposed program. Besides Coog, you get some delicious COCONUT SHRUMPS from Red Lobster, that's right, SHRUMPS and your money gets sent to the victims. RedScare
I noticed a local Billion dollar restaurant chain conspicuous by its absence.
pineda
I noticed Chili's 850 restaurants are donating 100% of their profits! P.S. Red, was it the Landry's chain that you were referring to? I know it's not the Pappas family. Edited October 5, 2005 by pineda
TJones
I noticed Chili's 850 restaurants are donating 100% of their profits! That will mean at least a couple of million dollars for the cause.
