mkultra25
Quote Chicago architect Adrian Smith designed the world's tallest building. Now he has created one that will reach even farther - a full kilometer into the sky. How high can he go? Lara
It's a wonder I had never heard of Smith before reading the article; he had designed so many famous buildings! It gives me a feeling of vertigo just reading the statistics on this one.
SirJac
That was an interesting article, thank you for linking it. So, if they end up building a mile high tower in Chicago, does that mean you can see Denver on an even plane from the very top with a great set of binoculars? Or a telescope? Had to ask. Vishen
Great piece. It's amazing really that none of us had heard about this talented architect until now. I think that it's to be expected that he would want to surpass his previous goal. I can't wait to see what he produces next.
john nicholson
It's going to have an "outdoor event space" at around 2,000 feet? Man - hang on to your hat! It just amazes me that they can build that high up.
