SpringTX
Check out this planned community that has some similarities with The Woodlands: Peachtree City, Georgia. http://www.peachtreecity.com
kjb434
My brother has a girlfriend whose parents live there. It's nice. It essentially the Woodlands with a secondary road system for golf carts to drive around the neighborhood. The Wal-Mart and other stores have dedicated parking in the parking lots for the golfcarts right by the handicapped spaces.
brijonmang
I was in Peachtree City in June to see some family...it is MUCH nicer than the woodlands. Some things like the terrain...the Woodlands cant help...but zoning of Peachtree keeps almost every business, bank, shopping center, etc. behind a strip of flora. All of the buildings too are painted or decorated to better fit the landscape as well...mcdonalds, wal-mart, target...they are all totally different looking than what you see here. Peachtree City is a great example of a master-planned community
