The Pragmatist
I thought this might be of interest to some of the people in here. It caught my eye, and I figured I'd share it. http://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/2015/feb/27/googles-new-headquarters-upgradable-futuristic-greenhouse
Dakota79
I just saw an article about that! I wish we had just one forward thinking, super rich company here! California has them all with Google, Facebook etc. At least we aren't Detroit! Here's the BizJornal article on Google espansion plans. http://m.bizjournals.com/sanjose/news/2015/02/27/exclusive-google-campus-plan-would-explode-the.html?r=full
Luminare
BIG is probably one of best firms working today and Heatherwick is just plain crazy lol. They are literally the combination of the eccentric genius and mad scientist. Bjarke Ingel has done some fabulous TED talks as well. I think both have been digging into Buckminster Fullers work or something because BIG has been obsessed with Fullers Geodesic dome stuff of late. And after some searching...found it. This is a pretty cool project too. http://www.archdaily.com/603259/big-s-unconventional-uppsala-power-plant-to-host-summer-festivals/
