Morning traffic reporter, Katherine Whaley, has declined the station's offer of moving her into reporting duties and is exiting Ch. 11, according to Mike McGuff's blog.

So in other words, Whaley leaves the news business for good correct?

I wouldn't be surprised if other news stations from other Texas cities like Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio or outside of Texas such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, etc., blow up her cell phone for job offers.
