Muralpainter
Was looking at the water level chart for Lake Conroe. Seems very odd how the level is maintained consistent at 198 feet. The heavy rain in early April briefly increased the level and quickly subsided back to 198 feet. http://conroe.uslakes.info/Level.asp Curious if the level is kept artificially low to enable the water plant construction, or to get the public used to the low levels when they draw surface water off for treatment. If we have another drought this summer the low lake level will have dire consequences. Edited April 8, 2013 by Muralpainter
august948
As I understand it, it's not if but when on the drought. It's been pretty dry already this year and the summer is predicted to be dry as well.
