pwright1
Lake Washington at Madison Park Downtown I had a few more pics but it wouldn't allow me to post them. I didn't realize there's a limit to the number of pics you can post. Oh well.
The Great Hizzy!
Nice. Send some of that Seattle summer weather down here, man.And the water looks a tad brownish blue? Any reason why?EDIT: nevermind, I realized that it's Lake Washington. Natural lakes tend to have this hue from time to time due to river runoff and whatnot. YakuzaIce
I think you can put more in a second, third, etc... post. I like the last one. Is Macy's headquartered there or are they just allowed to have a big sign?

ssullivan
Those Macy's signs are new. Just a few months ago they were all Bon Marche.Yeah, Macy's bought out Bon Marche a couple of years ago. For a while the stores were operated under the name "Bon Macy's" and earlier this year they were changed to just Macy's.I spent three weeks up there in May and loved it. The Pacific Northwest has always been one of my favorite parts of the country, and it was great spending so much time in the area. These pictures make me want to hop a plane and go back! ferronsfunctionals
Wow, there are really great views from that park.I was there at the same time....I grew up there actually. Very beautiful. They definitely have a lot of small to medium size parks. Not many as big as Memorial, but some are more functional I think. They have significant trails for biking and rollerblading on too. I haven't been anywhere nicer than Seattle in the Summer.....but I have been many places nicer than seattle in the late fall, winder and spring.Wow, there are really great views from that park.I was there at the same time....I grew up there actually. N Judah
Looks like Seattle's Pioneer Square is going the way of Dallas's Deep Ellum...http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/loca..._hamlin20m.htmlThere was also a fight a month or two ago that was videotaped and replayed all over the place, not to mention the 2002 Mardi Gras where some guy was attacked and killed...
