Second, I recall hearing about the Entropy Index years ago - in college. I guess I should've paid better attention.

Yup, very interesting analysis. My only 'regret' is that I didn't see any charts comparing a segregation index across major metropolitan areas. I may have missed it, though; I'll check again when I haven't gone 42 hours without sleep.
