Golyadkin
One tower is fully complete, the other has the tower and the cab up, but not the arm.Total count for the galleria at this point:2 at this, 2 at BBVA, 1 at 3009 Post Oak, 1 at Brownway, 2 at Millenium Post Oak.Hopefully we'll see ones at High Street, BLVD, and Five Oaks Place before the end of the year.At this point, is the Galleria area the densest area of construction in Texas? I'm certain that it is in Houston.

bluecar(a.f.f.)
It's going to be an 8-story mixed-use wrap with about 325 residential units. Good density for this area. Edited November 27, 2012 by bluecar(a.f.f.)

ChrisPHous
I don't like making new threads, especially when I don't haw an article or rendering to show so figured this was the most appropriate place. On Voss near San Felipe, behind the Kroger something is going on. They have a movable crane and looks like they are drilling for foundation, anyone have any leads? This kind of work doesn't seem like it goes on for just an apartment complex.
kdog08
view looking North Awesome shot. Was going to Kelsey Clinic in this area and it's surprisingly dense in this corner of Houston. From earlier today. Very little change since lockmat posted his pictures: Thanks for the update. Glad this one doesn't look like your standard complex going up right now. lockmat
This place looks pretty much finished. Too bad it doesn't seem like there is much opportunity immediately nearby to extend the density.

feufoma
Wonder how much rents will be for this one. Looks like they're having some trouble leasing West Ave Phase II. There's a guy holding a for lease sign on Kirby most days. A colleague told me that 2 bedrooms go for nearly $3000 per month. That's crazy for Houston!
fernz
From ZC's website. Wow, someone spent some serious time Photoshoping these pictures to remove all the poles and wires in the intersection and both streets...seems a bit like deceptive advertizing.

IntheKnowHouston
It appears Local Foods will close its location at 5740 San Felipe St. The restaurant space is listed for lease. I think the unit has been marketed since last fall. Local Foods is one of several ground floor retail at Gables Tanglewood. The restaurant is closing its location at Gables Tanglewood ( 5740 San Felipe ) and moving to Post Oak Plaza. It will move into the former Panera Bread unit at 1709 Post Oak Blvd. The unit is on the corner of San Felipe. An Architectural Barriers Projects was filed for Local Foods last year. What Now Houston reported on the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations filing, noting the address as 1751 Post Oak Blvd. https://whatnowhou.com/local-foods-adding-houston-storefront Edited January 22, 2023 by IntheKnowHouston
