spiderroller Posted January 26, 2011 Share Posted January 26, 2011 Houston Nightlife died in the 90s.The 80s dominated, and the 90s were great for awhile, in Southwest Houston..... memories and memories.... I remember a "move" towards the Alabama/Shephard area.... that lasted about a year.... until the Downtown revival... which also lasted a few years.... until demographics finally took over and ruined the nightlife Downtown and everywhere else.Let's face it.... demographics killed Houston as a Party Town. It killed Southwest Houston.... and it has now killed Downtown.The 80s.... when everything (and everyone) was white and black ..... I only wish we had digital cameras and smartphones then.....
