editor Posted October 14, 2010 Share Posted October 14, 2010 NEW HARRIS COUNTY REPRESENTATIVE JOINS BOARDGary Stobb, P.E., director of engineering infrastructure at Brooks and Sparks, Inc., joined METRO’s Board of Directors as a representative of Harris County, Oct. 13, 2010.Mr. Stobb has worked as an engineer for the past 40 years, including 20 years for Harris County in the Public Infrastructure Department. This includes jobs with the Flood Control District and the Toll Road Authority. Prior to that, Mr. Stobb worked for 19 years employed by Shell Chemical, Walter P. Moore and Associates, Krahl and Gaddy Engineers, Storey and Stobb Engineers, Inc., and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Mr. Stobb, who received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Civil Engineering from Rice University in 1970, joins Trinidad “Trini” Mendenhall Sosa as one of Harris County’s two representatives on METRO’s nine-member board.
