kjb434 Posted June 2, 2005 Share Posted June 2, 2005 DDay Museum Expansion The above link shows the expansion of the Current DDay museum in NO to a full block Museum dedicated to WWII. A site plan is at the bottom of the page. The build at the farthest right in the picture is the current DDay museum. The rest of project will begin soon. Most of the old building will keep their street fronts. I have seen the architectural model on display at the DDay museum and believe this will be awesome. The museum is located in the Warehouse district just west of Downtown. The area is huming with artist lofts and condos and street retail. This museum will be a great addition for the area.
