pineda
chron's announcement of new blog In a stunning display today of "Do as I say, not as I do", the Chronicle which recently admonished HAIF to quit quoting in whole entire articles found on www.chron.com did just that on their first attempt at blogging today. Subdude
Why would anyone bother with an RSS feed to get updates on that lame-o "MeMo" blog?
kjb434
I guess the Chronicle will now decide to display their biases on a blog. Blogs are opinion pieces. They have to take a side.
MidtownCoog
Blogs are a joke.I avoid them. But message boards are cool.
Subdude
I guess the Chronicle will now decide to display their biases on a blog. Blogs are opinion pieces. They have to take a side.Actually, I would say the Chronicle goes out of its way to show any bias. They have no stake in offending anyone, especially advertisers, which is why they come off as so bland. Personally, I would prefer a better biassed paper, but that's not going to happen here. Blogs should be opinion pieces, but in line with it's editorial policy of not having an editorial voice, the Chronicle blogs go out of their way to avoid having meaningful opinions. Hence you end up with "MeMo", which is basically babbble calling itself a blog.
