C2H
I'm sorry, i tried researching this topic to see if its already been brought up but does the website seems to move so slow? I didn't want to take the extra time to search several pages back. I sometimes visit the website just as an onlooker without logging in and have noticed that the pages and pictures are larger, navigation is slower. I started a topic yesterday and i used to be able to sneak and post things while I was at work and it would only take a few seconds on the old site. Yesterday, it took me 8 minutes just to edit my post alone and that's because the curser kept freezing, then bumping my post at full view.I'm not complaining, i mean I love HAIF and have been a member since 2004 and before that I was an onlooker with no membership since early 2003. I've been having this problem from every computer: work, library, TSU, and my girlfriend's computer so I'm convinced its not a server problem. However, i do commend the efforts by the editor to improve the look and update it. Just so my post doesn't come off as completely negative :lol

Pumapayam
Likewise, fast and peppy at work and home. I think you must have some porn-related virus or something on your PC causing it, I'd check it out.

Orders are coming in ya know. And you'll get in trouble again if you send out an order to the drive thru with just the burger and no fries. I didn't notice the thread until now.If things are slow when you're typing, it's your computer, not HAIF. When you type a message it is entirely contained on your computer until you click the "Reply" button. The letters you type do not individually go to HAIF and then back to your web browser.I have no speed issues with HAIF on my MacBook Pro, on my wife's MacBook, on two mobile phones, or a Linux netbook.
editor
EXTREMELY SLOW... started within last week or two. Sometimes so much it's irritating. There were no changes made to HAIF in the time frame you describe.
editor
The only slowness I have experienced lately is when searching from the search box (just today so far, though)...The search function in the new HAIF is slower then the old one. The old one was farmed out to Google. But since Google isn't as friendly with the new HAIF as the old, search has been taken in-house.There is a chance of implementing a new type of search software for HAIF that's supposed to be speedier and better, but there are some more fundamental flaws I have to deal with first.So... yeah, search is slower than old HAIF. But everything else should be pretty much the same speed.

Your operating system controls the cursor, not the web page.I'm not complaining, i mean I love HAIF and have been a member since 2004 and before that I was an onlooker with no membership since early 2003.
