editor
Thanks for the pics! There's some really great new stuff gong up there. I'm originally from NYC (Brooklyn born), but have only been back twice in the last 20 years. HAIF has a sister site called New York Architecture Info. If the other 400+ photos are on Flickr, you can add them to the site's Flickr pool.

new major on the block
Those are nice...I would love to see Central Park & all of NYC. Especially in the Fall or Winter. Ahhhh...Someday.Well like i said, i was fortunate enough to go for a week. If you think that if it might be too expensive especially for a week in "The Big Apple" i can assure you it wasn't for me. With a roundtrip plane ticket from Houston to NY, it was $270. the Hostel was $41 a night. I payed $150 of the new york pass that got me access to all the zoos, museums, and sites for free. Transportation in the city of NY for the entire week was just $25. That included the trip from Leguardia on the M60 bus to Astoria Blvd to catch the R or W train all the way into Manhattan to the 8th street NYU stop. I walked for miles that week and ridden the subway many more. All in all i spent between $750 to $850 total. That being my first trip there, i sure felt like i owned that city, i easily navigated all around without a hitch. Some of my fellow classmates were a little less adventurous, lol. But I am actually planning to return sometime this fall or winter, depends on certain factors.
