Wow. That was really fast, Sheeats! I am impressed.

This was my college town. A once thriving Erie Canal city on North end of the middle finger (Seneca Lake) of the Finger Lakes.

Here's a group of rowhomes on South Main St. I lived here my senior year.

Here's an overhead shot showing the campus of Hobart and William Smith Colleges, downtown Geneva, and Seneca Lake Park.

The South side of town is filled with old summer homes. Geneva was a big summer spot for rich industrialists back in the day. Here's the Belhurst Castle which is now a small luxury hotel.

I should have avoided using a named building!

Sheeats, are you from around there?

Geneva is located in Central New York. It's one hour West of Syracuse, 1 hour east of Rochester, and 45 minutes north of Ithaca. It's a beautiful region filled with farm land, vineyards, and of course, lakes. Winter is VERY long. It's cloudy with lake effect snow from early November until sometimes early May. If it is clear in the winter, it means it is very COLD.

Here's the Bozzuto Boathouse, home to HWS Colleges' sailing team in the dead of winter. (finished #14 in the nation this year)

Pulteney Park Fountain, where downtown and the Colleges collide. HWS students love the dress the statue.
