sevfiv
This was in the October 1955 issue of Arts and Architecture. I wanted to find out more about it - where was it built, is it extant? It's kind of reminiscent of his Meadowglen house (and the lot size is similar): http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&...1&encType=1 more: http://arch-ive.org/archive/harwood-taylor/
SpaceAge
According to the Houston Mod publication Booming Houston & the Modern House- Residential Architecture of Neuhaus and Taylor, 1955-1960 by Ben Koush, this house was built in the Briargrove subdivision at 6243 Olympia Drive. It was demolished several years ago. There is more information about the house in the book. It's available at Brazos, Amazon, MFA, and at Mod of the Month events for $15.00.
