Katy Schools

I JUST FOUND THIS SITE AND THIS SEGment ON KATY SCHOOLS GOT MY ATTENTION. I have two children that teach in Katy Schools. (will not mention the names) I have two grandchildren going to Katy schools and two more entering (or may enter Katy in the fall) When I was going to school and my children going to school...if the school district had a problem with anything.......school board and administrators got the blame. Look at the school board and look at the administrators if there is continuing serious problems. We had very little problems when I was in school and when my two children were in school the school board and administrators ruled with a firm hand...fair hand but a firm hand. They were great. The schools were great.

I am hoping if I can afford it to put two of my grandchildren into private schools. Yes, Seven Lakes is new and the homes around it are very expensive that are zoned there and the tax rate is high, I heard. I live in Sugar Land now and love it here. But, may I add, even with a new school or any school in a wealthier area,

there can be problems. Some kids are given everything they want and when that happens.....things can happen.

Aw...such is life.
