Trophy Property
Why buy when you can burn? I stopped buying about 5-6 years ago.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>LOL, I was thinking the same thing. There is no reason to clutter my house with countless DVD's that most likely will never get watched again. I mean after I have watched the first season of 24 I know what happnes. I loved it the first time, but there is no way I would sit through it again.

houstonsemipro
Hey guys. I'm with Netflix now, and I'm enjoying the hell out of it.
ssullivan
Why rent them, and you can buy them? I rather buy then rent. I stop renting movies like 5-6 years ago.Because I rarely watch any of the DVDs I do own very often. I'd rather rent something for less than $2 (I actually totaled up the money I've paid to Netflix over the last two and a half years and divided it by the number of DVDs I've rented in that time period and it works out to about $1.97), watch it once and enjoy it, and send it back. And if I want to watch it again I can put it back in my rental queue and move it to the top position and rent it again. I don't want a bunch of disks I rarely watch cluttering up my living space, requiring me to invest in more furniture just to store them, and creating more stuff I have to pack and haul when I move.To each his own. I bought "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" and "Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte". They do have excellent prices. I just hope that their free shipping is permanent and not just temporary. With most mail order companies that I buy things from, they have the same shipping charge regardless of how many items that you purchase. So with those companies, I try to wait until I can afford to buy several items.

Ashikaga
On Westheimer in the Montrose.A couple of weeks ago I got a membership with Hollywood Video because I bought a bag of Chex Party Mix that had a coupon on it "Rent one video, get one free" from Hollywood. So, after they gave me the membership card, I rented "East Of Eden" starring James Dean and "The Reagans" starring James Brolin and Judy Davis.
