IronTiger
I'm trying to remember the name of this old hobby shop that was in Culpepper Plaza since at least the early 1990s (it had to have been there longer) and closing before the year 2000 or so. I remember it had model trains, but I can't remember anything else! What was the name of it?Bonus points if you figure out the name of the bagel shop that existed in Culpepper Plaza during the 1990s as well. Scotch
The Hobby Shop sounds like Keyser's, but that was in Townshire Shopping Center in Bryan.I ate at the bagel place a few times and knew a girl that worked there, can't recall the name though. I think it was a corny name, like a play on words type thing.
IronTiger
I had almost wanted to say Baskin's, because I remember it being there at one time early on. There was also a pharmacy, I think, because I distinctly remember the "Rx" being on the name of it. It wasn't Phar-Mor, it was something else. IronTiger
It was Eckerd, I believe. Before they moved to near Kroger at SW Pkwy.
Scotch
Baskin's was in Culpepper before moving to the Tejas Center, Eckerd was also in CP.

Scotch
What part of the center do you remember them being in? I went to Culpepper quite a bit and don't remember it.
IronTiger
I'd say it was where Dollar Tree is now, near where CiCi's used to be. I could be wrong, but that's what I seem to recall.
Mark F. Barnes
Keyser's Hobbies moved to 1643 Texas Ave aka Culpepper Plaza in the 80's, I want to say 1983, where Kohl's is now.
