musicman Posted June 5, 2008 Share Posted June 5, 2008 KRIV (Channel 26) will launch weekday afternoon newscasts at 5 and 5:30 p.m., beginning Aug. 18, giving Houston viewers a fourth English-language newscast option at 5 and their only local option opposite the network newscasts at 5:30.Mike Barajas and Melinda Spaulding will anchor alongside meteorologist Jim Siebert. It's appointment television, so the majority of those who watch the Simpson will follow it. Or because of the demographic it attracts, DVR it.
