I like the idea a lot, but I'm still looking for the Houston related videos.

It's my understanding that it should get more accurate over time. It's searching the videos for words like "Houston" and "Texas" and "Real Estate" and "Home Improvement" -- things that HAIF is mostly about. Since it's only been online for a few minutes, I'm going to cut it some slack for right now.

Well, I kinda' figured that was the deal. I figure over the next few months it should be rather interesting to see what crops up. Maybe some porn stars named "Houston" will show up. :) Or do you have that filtered as well, Ed?

I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of videos are out there.

I've searched for many of those types of videos w/ those keywords before. It's hard to find any that are relevant and interesting that aren't just advertisments.

I like the idea for sure. I already do the same thing for articles on google. I subscribe to news stories "allintitle: houston" and sometimes search for "houston development"

Something else to think about editor, is that google searches for youtube videos and i think yahoo ones as well.

When I click Haif-tv it says "an error has occurred, please try again later". :(

That's odd. It works here. Do you get a blue pop-up window when you click?

That seemed unlikely to me since Google owns YouTube, but I looked it up and it turns out you're right. Partially, at least. Google the search engine indexes videos from rivals, but it can only legally serve videos from its own service -- YouTube.

I should add "HAIF" to the keywords so that if HAIFers post their own videos they can flag them to appear in the list.

You're getting to be THE place to go to for Houston Related stuff, eh? I already see you on google for just about every Houston search I do.

Seriously, one of my high school friends found me on here because she was doing a Houston search on something. HAIF is like the local Houston Wikipedia on stuff.
