Bubble Puppy, 60's Austin Band

Anyone remember Bubble Puppy? They were a psychedelic band from Austin in the 60's. "Hot Smoke and Sassafras", a Top 20 hit, was their big song. I ran across a really neat animated clip of the song. Check it out:

Thanks for the link... I don't believe I've heard the song before but it had very nice energy, and was very tight. I really like the Sid Barret styling.

I remember them. I have the 45. It has a yellow label that says International Artists. Dust cover is long gone though.

That was great. Bubbly Puppy played for one of our school dances at Westbury in the 60's. Still have their LP.
