Dan Rather is from Houston. Maybe he still has family members around here.

Ah! That second picture with the telescope radome on top is my old building from 1986 to 1993. I worked there (bldg 16) before moving to bldg 44 - which, by the way, is famous now for the shooting. Good times.

Guess Rather has a little more free time these days since he imploded his career on the Networks. He is a local boy, and SHSU grad, and really I like his new gig on Mark Cuban's channel. He really is a genuine guy, that got caught up in ugly politics, and one stupid research assistant.

Oh yeah great pics as always Boris, you're not as I had pictured you in my mind.

lol... Your daughters just look enthused to take a picture with "some old dude" as they probably referred to him!

As always, thanks for the pics. Any idea how long the X-Wing is going to be there? Are there any other Star Wars exhibits as well?
