Vertigo58 Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 This has to be one of the most ambitious & beautiful projects underway in Madrid. Not sure if anyone has discussed yet on Haif, so merge if needed. Take a look at the ultra modern design of these 4 torres or towers rather. Even the Plaza Castilla in the background is hot! The future is here! Can you picture this in Houston? http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=391659 Cordiales saludos. Quote
editor Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 Can you picture this in Houston? No, but I can picture the first building in Corpus Christi. Quote
Vertigo58 Posted December 26, 2007 Author Posted December 26, 2007 I am going to search and see what the interior of these skyscrapers will look like. Preferable the luxury apts. These 4 structures would look so good in Houston's Herman Park area. Since I am dreaming, they would look just fine here in the Near East side of downtown ala 45/Wayside areas. Quote
Vertigo58 Posted January 31, 2008 Author Posted January 31, 2008 It was bound to happen: Torre De Cristal jump. Quote

editor Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Nice. I like the train, too. I really miss high-speed rail. But at least congress approved money to double the local Amtrak speed by next year! Woo hoo! Quote

Vertigo58 Posted November 4, 2008 Author Posted November 4, 2008 I think these buildings are a real turn on! Very statuesque and ... simply magnifico. Quote
houstonmacbro Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Striking. But why did they decide to build them all at once? Quote
Vertigo58 Posted November 11, 2008 Author Posted November 11, 2008 Striking. But why did they decide to build them all at once? Not really sure what the reasoning was behind this project but the whole country is just wild about it and so are many other nearby countries. I wish you all could read Spanish or Italian since there there are hundreds of rave comments on another forum...an International forum that is. Cuatro mean 4 and torres is bulls. 4 bulls all in a row. I just wish I were there right now. I still have a dream that one day Houston could build a similar project just space them out more. The corridor driving in from 610 at 45 into downtown would be perfect! Kind of like staff waiting in line to receive guests into our beautiful downtown. Its night time in Madrid right now. http://www.torresmadrid.com/blog/ http://revver.com/video/492090/cuatro-torr...ss-area-madrid/ Quote
