dbigtex56 Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 There's a street (Day St.) just off W. Alabama (between Brandt and Spur 527) which can't be more than about 30' long. This got me to wondering: is this the shortest street in Houston? Hardly seems worth erecting a sign for it. Quote
Vertigo58 Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 That is hilarious. There are quite a few over off of Lawndale. I imagine the street work crew leader was bored that day. Quote
plumber2 Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 There's a section of West Main in front of South Main Baptist that is only about 30' long. Of course it picks up on the other side of Spur 527 and continues for several blocks, so I guess this one doesn't really count. Quote

TJones Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 (edited) I may possibly live on Houston's shortest street. I won't tell you what the name is for fear of reprisals, but I can assure you, it is no longer than 75 feet that turns into a cul de sac, and it has been this way for 35 years or so. ricco67 Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 There is another street calls Asbury St. Almost directly across from Richmond landing which is a true street that got closed off, I know there is at least one house located there, maybe two. Kinda surprised they didn't buy them out. Quote
