ArchitecturalPRGirl
I got round trip flight from Houston and 5 nights stay at the Flamingo for $621.That's cheap. I paid $230 for airfare a couple of weeks ago which is way cheap. I will be curious to hear what you think of the room because that is a super cheap rate for 5 nights. You will have fun regardless. Pumapayam
Regarding other none-strip items, what do you recommend?
westguy76
Anyone stay at Flamigo.I heard the rooms were recently renovated?we always stay there. reasonable rates, centrally located, big casino, one of the nicest pool areas in vegas, not posh at all but it's clean. wouldn't you rather spend your money somewhere else than on a room. thats the way we see it though. best overall value on the strip if you ask me.if you are on a budget and don't mind doing it we sat through a timeshare presentation at one of the places on the strip and got free tickets to 3 shows. I think we saw a showgirls/follies show, an impersonater show at the stratosphere and a majic show somewhere. I think they let you pick your tickets, but we had to sit through some high pressure salesmen spill for a couple of hours. you'll want to see the dam. go downtown at night and see freemont street. If you want some cheap gambling tables anytime of the day ($5 blackjack) hit O'sheas casino right next to the flamingo. there is some nightclubs you could hit. When I was there the one at new york new york was popular with the tourists. Other than that if it's your first time walk all the casinos they all have something to see be it tigers, shopping, ongoing shows, and drinks. The weather wasn't so bad though, huh?!It was super hot, but at least it was sunny most of the time. Amazing how much more tolerable the heat is without the humidity sucking the life out of you! Pumapayam
how was zumanity?Very kinky and cabaret, and it seems like (2) of the intended skits were skipped altogether. I enjoyed but it, but if you can see "O", that is THE show to see.
