houstonmacbro Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 If HAR is down, what do realtors use? Is there another, professional system? Is it MLS (I know they have access to such data, but is it a system similar to HAR?) Quote
mumbles Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 Surely they are bringing those old features back, I think they just aren't done yet. Stuff I miss from old HAR.com:1) Map search (I actually liked the one they had before the google map one)2) The personalized section (saved searchs, bookmarked listings)3) Being able to pick 10, instead of 5 per page4) Recent home sales (even with the ~$75k ranges, they had pictures)5) New listings search6) Open house search7) The map feature on a listing opening up a map where you could plot other properties, not Yahoo)Things nice about the new HAR.com:1) Lot description2) Maint. fees on condos ($0.75/sqft @ the Huntingdon!) mpbro Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Those aren't exacts...actually aren't anywhere near them...20-30k off at least on some.I was able to find two exact matches in my neighborhood... There was only one 5 bedroom house that sold in the month given, and it sold (MLS) for $398, and that was what HCAD noted. But I have no idea where HCAD gets its data; direct MLS feed or something else. Quote
houstonmacbro Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Looks like it is down again. I was just on it a few minutes ago and now ... nothing. Quote
