brijonmang
Finally, the new plans are let public. 85k sounds great! I can't wait to see all the new improvements finishing in the next year...and then the others starting after that. It really is an exciting time to be at Tech. mrfootball
Tech prez. to resign; Tech on probation until December, what next for Tech? They got that guy (Whitmore) from the University of Iowa. He never really fit in, and he never really did his job. In short, the Peter Principle kicked his ass.
gwilson
Don't suppose one of you could pull some strings and get me this gig, eh? 2% commission (only a measly $1,260,000)!
MidtownCoog
Next January? Why not this January? Considering Tech is on academic probation and their key SAC certificion is in question you'd think he'd have been shown the door a long time ago. pineda
Really awful timing for all this to be happening at Texas Tech. High school seniors across the country are making their final plans on where they'll be attending college in the fall, and this will severely hurt Tech's recruiting of these students. palmer
Ya i go to Texas Tech right now... I think everything will work out with the probation, they say something just wasnt ready in time... and I hope thats true. Things seem to take longer out here, especially construction... but thats another story.

brijonmang
The construction crews have been hard at work all summer. In the last 3 weeks, the entire NE corner bleachers have been put up and they have recently begun to do the same with the NW corner. They've been able to move so fast because they are using pre-fab risers and bleachers. This link is to the same site as the last link I posted but these pictures are from earlier today.http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=188&f=1650&t=4735299
