"iconic" seems to be the big buzzword of the year, but people who use it really don't understand its meaning.

Either way, roads are never named after politicians unless they're well-liked by the area/nation as a whole.
you have never been to West Virginia, have you.
Everything in the state, except the state itself, is named the Robert C Byrd this, the Robert C Byrd that....

Hotel Alessandra will for sure start in the "3rd Quarter this year"..., reliable source.
they are currently salvaging materials from the unused spaces where allesandra is going, then once SkyHouse's leasing office moves to Skyhouse, they will demo and salvage that.
then... my coworkers and i get to take out our aggressions with sledge hammers on the soon to be demoed space, then the real demo crew comes in

Bentley's was at Woodlake Square. when the closed down, it became a teen bar called Club Soda. Every time i hear Boston's "We're Ready", I'm taken back to lying on that dance floor, that album cranked to full on the PA that we built, pointing at areas where my bud Dony Stevens would aim one of the pinspots that were mounted on a dome shaped truss. This was 1987.
It later became Bayou Mama's in '89 or '90.
I still keep in close contact with the guy who designed all three of those clubs, along with Numbers, BMC, HoB etc.

the NFL sets up their own little area for the foolsball fans to go to- the rest of the city doesn't benefit.
I know many friends in New orleans who were disappointed about the lack of business in their areas during their SB (last year? The year before? I don't remember)
