  1. Good news. This should go well with the expansion of the section down by 2920 and Kuykendahl-Huffsmith Rd coming out of the Woodlands into Spring.
  2. This post has been edited by Editor to remove off-topic content. Please keep this thread on topic, or it will be closed.
  3. Cool, I always drive up through Millican on 2154/Wellborn when I head up there, so hopefully all the improvements will greet me the next time I come up to College Station.
  4. That thing has taken them a really long time. When I left CS and headed back down to Houston back in August of last year, they had most of the structure up it seemed...and it's still not done. Once it does open, it will be nice. The traffic at that intersection was always bad around 5 pm when I was a student worker over at the fire field.
  5. I kinda like it. It's different. It beats all the lame stucco homes lining the streets out there.
  6. I ate at the ones in College Station a lot when I was up there. Since the Magnolia one is only about 15 min from me, I occasionally head that way when I get a craving. Golden Chick is also really similar to this. Both are pretty good (so long as it isn't an every day thing). This is making me hungry...
  7. Two places I've tried and liked were The Burger Guys off Westheimer and Rockwell Tavern & Grill off of Telge Rd.
  8. http://www.yourhoustonnews.com/west_university/news/article_0cb6c2c4-3c74-11e0-90d8-001cc4c002e0.html Just saw an article referencing the project. -- Perhaps coming as something of a surprise, though, was the cost related to design work for the abandoned intermodal terminal project, Burnett Plaza, once planned for north of the UH-Downtown business school — a whopping $41 million to be written off. Describing the plans for the terminal as "grandiose" and "unachievable," Greanias said land purchased for the project remained as an asset, valued separately at $21 million. "I'm not quite sure how it got to this point," he said of the Burnett plans. "They are lovely drawings." --
  9. That's definitely cool looking. Appropriately designed for a planetarium. No telling how time will treat it, but it's adventurous and cool right now.
  10. It's just some unfortunate timing for Dallas with the weather. Anyway, I'm just posting support for the trendy Super Bowl pick. Go Packers!
  11. Just a bit of an update I saw. http://www.click2houston.com/automotive/26539192/detail.html
  12. I agree. It'll be nice to have something like this around the airport. People can have a little more variety near the airport before heading out on a flight or after landing in the Houston without having to search too far.
  13. I was just on the Houston Airport System site searching for some info on Hobby Airport and saw this press release for possible development at IAH. I guess I am just out of the loop since this was my first time hearing about it. http://www.fly2houston.com/0/3502266/0/0/
