  1. Was there opening day, great place, and the menu is a work in progress.....
  2. Mother's PoBoys on Richmond just West of Kirby , awesome sandwiches and a nice Hungarian couple owned it....

  4. Otto's BBQ is closing for good on Jan 20, 2010...The burger side is staying open (for now)

  10. I loved the Crawfish Fried Rice ther! The order was so big you ate half for lunch and took the other half home for dinner!
  11. I had lunch there today, awesome burgers! I had a hard time deciding on which one to have, but chose the triple bypass burger w/fries.. Great fresh patty, crusty bread for the bun, all in all , a near perfect burger!
  12. Tried it yesterday afternoon, pretty good fo only being open a week, I do see them expanding the mune selections o burgers as they go, but what they have so far is pretty tasty... I do agree that the fries portions are generous, and the deck is better than when it was Ming's...

  14. Christies has some of the best seafood in Houston, the stufed Flounder is awesome!!

Beau Theriot is the owner of the Brownstone, and the original owner of Cafe Adobe( which went straight down after he sold it), so if Chuy's is going to close I would imagine that it will do just fine... As for Armando's , I used to love the place in the 80s when it was on Shepherd @San Felipe, but I have not read one positive thing since it moved in to the od River Oaks grill location...

  17. Ming's will be missed on Thursday nights, but there ar several places to get a good bike night going... I wish Alabama Ice House had a kitchen...
  18. We fried 3 birds on Thursday, and all 3 came out perfect! I converted my inlaws into fried turkey lovers 5 years ago, and they say they will never go back... I did do one with just an injection of butter,hlf a bottle of tabasco, lemon juice, black pepper, paprika...
