Market Square Tower: 40-Story High-Rise At 777 Preston St.

The light color facade actually goes well with the parking garage. These are amazing pictures, but this building is even more impressive in person. Thanks for sharing guys!- 1,894 replies

Elan Memorial Park & The Westcott Memorial Park On Westcott St.

Gargantuan is a great word to describe this. I frequently ride the 85 bus past this and it is certainly an imposing structure compared to the surrounding buildings in the area.- 172 replies

Five Oaks Place/Woodside: Office Tower At 1500 Post Oak Bvd.
79ta replied to fernz's topic in Uptown and Galleria Area
Finally got a chance to render one of my own in Photoshop. Just a quick edit. For reference, Central Park would be roughly where Memorial Park is located. Pretty cool! Anyone think we'll have 1.5M people (roughly the amount of Manhattan) living inside that area within the next 30-50 years?- 594 replies

How'd you make that map? I'd like to see how Manhattan would look rotated to fit basically between i-10 and 59. I guess we would lose the med center, but gain the galleria and the energy corridor, correct?- 594 replies

Touche. Poor word choice on my part. In any case, it will be a welcome addition to the area.

<-- UHD student. I haven't heard anything lately, but that's not surprising with this school. They don't seem to announce anything until after the fact (proposed graduation date change, attempted assault on campus). Either way it'll be nice to bring more residential closer to the campus and give it some life.

Latitude Med Center: Residential Tower And InterContinental Hotel

Does a map exist of the TMC "blocks" and what's under construction like there is for downtown? Seems like several projects going up, or soon to be. -
You can thanks the Allen brothers for that, probably, also why there are large ships in the bayou in the photo toxtethogrady posted.

Is Central Market Square too confusing? A little more upscale grocery experience for the high end residential units that sit above.
