  1. One thing I wish they would have is a nice pool hall. There's really nothing super close to this area now, the Slick Willies on 59 between Weslayan and Buffalo isn't there and the only other place for pool super close in the 77098 or 77027 zip is Harlow's inside the Edwards Grand Palace movie theater. If I'm wrong please enlighten me, I miss playing pool...

There is a Slick Willies there on Westheimer near Montrose

  2. You know what'll stink is if they perform like some of the west Texas turbines, when you drive by and they're not even spinning, haha :(

    ;P

Maybe they'll use the grid to keep them always going...just for show.

Yeah, those west texas wind turbines are so spotty when it comes to working.

just for show would be cool... all the time is better than sometimes like the uptown waterwall exterior...either you're on all the time or not at all!

be just my luck trying to show off DT in the future and someone says, "I don't see any wind turbines moving, you're full of crap!"

  3. Which Wich? is open in Midtown. may have been for a bit, but i just noticed it.

I actually just had it in Austin last weekend and was wishing there was one near me.

They only have one size I believe, but lots of different options as far as meats, cheeses, and toppings. you can also double the meat and stuff.

I would compare them to Quiznos but more options, and a little higher in quality. the turkey reuben is amazing.

And I live alone and travel a lot, so don't have all the fixins and fresh stuff at home, so its nice to have the option to get a good sandwich out every once and a while.

Yeah Which Wich has been open for a few months, I haven't tried it so I can't give my opinion. I do miss that Cold Stone though. Their Chocolate Devotion is incredible

  4. I'm always seeing people cross the Studemont bridge in the afternoons and I get nervous for them. They are one slip from getting hit by traffic or one text away from from some doofus hitting the curb.

Is there anyone that lives nearby that can post before (or current) pictures so we can have a comparison after it's complete?

Don't really see why everyone didn't like the design, I thought it was pretty creative, but thank god for the name change.

I agree with you ricco about liking the previous design. I think the more creative and interesting in Houston creates more buzz. Also it gives people a reason to come visit that part of town, that most have never been to and see how great it is.

creating interesting bridge > more ordinary bridge.

    my opinion
