True Food Kitchen in the new BLVD Place opens July 29th...they have a job fair going on now! Also while i dont have a photo, they put the "Whole Foods Market" large letters/signage up in front of the building/on top of the entrance...really cant wait to have this open just a block north west of my office and a block south east of my apartment!

i live right there at the corner of post oak and I am thinking about installing one of those bank tubes to connect my apartment to Crave...

Wasn't able to take a pic, but True Food Kitchen on the north side of the building seriously looks ready to open any time now...signs up, furniture in and lots of activity...

Has anyone tried the new pizza/pizza by the slice place that opened up at the corner of montrose and westheimer in the location that was Montrose Photo Booth? It just opened last week:   http://www.pepperonis.net/

i call it Highland Village area all the time because its not part of the Galleria or River Oaks area as it really is it's own stand alone place/area in my opinion! anyway...wow one whole page on what to call an area...geez haha!

i live at the sister property (or at least same management) and they told me that they have an apartment around 600 sq ft for approx 1600.00 per month...super nice place but wont be moving any time soon to this place haha!

HUH!!!??? Crown Of Thorns!?!? I wish it was that cool!!! To me it looks like a giant empty fruit basket and i keep checking to see if they ever filled it with huge inflatable bananas, oranges and apples!!! doh!

They're moving painfully slow finishing up the retail portion. So much for the 'Opening Early 2014' on the sign at the intersection. The Whole Foods website says the store will open Summer 2014. At this rate, that'll be September.

I have a friend who works at the Whole Foods Kirby and yep they confirmed this weekend that August 9th or there about would be the opening of Whole Foods Market Post Oak... OMG this really is a delayed project!!! Geez! haha

cannot wait for a re-do of GRB...hate that they modeled it after a cruise ship to help symbolize that we are the Port Of Houston and port of the Gulf...super dated, super cheesy so re-model away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really excited about this...something to help lower Montrose look better and be even cooler!

any new news on the Alamo Drafthouses? A montrose location would be awesome and would be happy with a midtown location....just haven't been able to find any new/updated info if there even is any... thanks!

haha yeah and old photos with the old pavilion in them are still up so those need to be changed...as well as update with the names of the new tenants and possible opening dates etc...i mean come on updating a site is more than just adding some new pics to old photo albums....

man i have been waiting forever for them to tear down Courtyard at Post Oak however just today i drove by and saw that they are renovating the former Dessert Gallery portion of that building and placed a permit sign in the window...hoping to go by tonight and see who is moving in there...i am hoping it is something good at least...maybe Torchys?

Edit to say: just drove by and its a Parvizon (sp?) Rugs store! BOO!

thank god we can all have an opinion! i live and work in uptown and walk alot...so to ME it is very pedestrian friendly because i do it alot and it is for ME! i cannot wait for Blvd Place to open because i will be walking there alot as well! (the only part i do agree with regarding Uptown being pedestrian unfriendly is crossing westheimer...yikes! that can be a little scary...haha!)
