i feel bad that she has clydesdale sydrome which i wonder if that is hereditary...i bet its hard to shop for shoes, speaking of which...the poor lady on the right wore bedazzled flip flops so you know there had to be all kinds of dirt and rocks between her toes   People really need to dress appropriately for events, unless of course this was a surprise party of some kind... 

edited to add that i truly feel for the middle lady who braved said event despite her feet being wrapped in some sort of orthopedic brace...

thanks for the update! i am super excited about the Galleria renovations as its about time...and love living and working across the street from it! especially excited about even more restaurant choices since i do not cook and dont want to learn haha!

haha yep, brick and not going anywhere anytime soon due to some land issues supposedly where they cannot tear down and build anything bigger etc...yay me!

That is probably the only place in that center I could afford to go or would go sounds like.  I remember my sister and I innocently went tie shopping in the Galleria as younger teens and there was a tie store and we were looking for a tie for Dad. Every tie was $100 according to the snooty salesclerk.

haha that is what i have been saying all along...my home and my work are both walking distance to ROD but i think i will mainly be frequenting the movie theater and the pizza place but my gosh i cannot believe i am l lucky enough to own a townhome walking distance to a movie theater now! i love the whole movie going experience...especially at a nice theater with respectful patrons! (Sundance is a great example of respectful patronage) cannot wait!!!

A Super 8?

 

Boo. I was hoping for a Motel 6 because they leave the light on and our skyline needs more magical lighting.

this just in, the ROD highrise will be a new flagship Super 8! 

i'm all for that since i work and live across from the galleria! i am sure all that will come! 

wow i guess that convenience store and hair/nail salon will be knocked down afterall! i wondered how long that would take to happen!

I'm not saying that the conventioneers are boring people, I mean I'm on HAIF for crying out loud, everyone has a hobby. But they are boring in my eyes. Doesn't mean I want to ruin it for everyone else.
