  1. Good lord, young man! Nobody asked for a cost analysis. Copgo simply asked what people think about the house.

I think it's a bit boring for the price. And the the stucco/brick/tile combo seems to have an identity crisis. Why cheap-out with stucco?

  2. Thanks for posting.

In the second opinion, it's dissapointing to see The Chron once again get excited about our "renowned performing arts".

Of all these experts only Klineberg seems to get the education component. That's the most critical.

The Chron is wrong in saying how Houston "built their neighborhoods distant from their jobs and their shopping needs".

Houston didn't do that, the burbs did. Most burbs are in unincorporated Harris County or edge cities.

What happened is Houston lost an opportunity to keep it's people. Famalies won't just stay in the city becuase of "renowned performing arts." They need education for their children.

  3. Some nieghbors kids of some of our best friends son has a severe peanut allergy which to the point of being life threating if were to eat something with nuts or even come into direct contact with them.

Those are the type kids who should sign a waiver before entering a "normal person's house".

But this is really nothing new. You can actually call your airline and request a "peanut free" flight.

  4. We got this email today:

The building ownership and Hines are working with a large group of consultants to redevelop the plaza. The new plaza will include a large water feature, extensive landscaping and outdoor seating; construction should begin in late October and we expect it to be completed by the Spring of 2008. Renderings of the project will be on display in the main lobby later this summer. We will provide you with additional information and project schedule updates as the project progresses.

  5. It would be cool to see Hakemm give something back to Houston. Liike the old guys who built this city back in the day. Maybe he does but I have missed it.

Granted he did give Houston two NBA Championships and two NCAA near misses.

We had a Muslim coworker in London who use a scheme that does allow them to finance a house. But technically it's not financing.

And who's hating on flippers? But there does seem to be two kind of flippers: the sitter/flippers and the fixer/flippers.
