Too late. They know the drill already. I tried buying a tiny old, beat up 750 sq ft by Fulton from an old Mexican lady.
The house was appraised ~$55,000, she was not fielding any offers lower than $170,000.
They know what they have.
Damn, they still think the boom will continue.

Marquette has an incentive.

Northside. Along the Metro line.

This is awesome. The TMC is the new oil and gas for Houston and will continue growing (esp if they are successful getting some for-profit biotechs to move from other states). This is very smart for HCC.
Actually, if they could stanch the exodus of local companies to the Philadelphia area, that would be a positive.

We all know on this website that when we see a porta potty, construction is most likely soon.
Not true. It could signal the start of a really small music festival.

$1.75 billion won't build that skyscraper he's envisioning.

And it was certainly better than their previous paralysis.

The view from the ramp coming onto 45 North from 288 today was incredible. There may be 25 visible cranes or more from that spot right now.
Okay, so you're the guy screwing up that ramp by slowing down...

Isn't the chance to profit enough?

It sure looks like it snowed.
Ross Perot has been promoting an office tower of undetermined height in downtown Dallas, saying there are prospects from out of town he's trying to entice. If they're looking for new buildings, this one's as good as any.

i wonder if we are ever going to receive a decent render / concept for this project?
Actually, the previous render is not bad, if that's what they end up doing.

If you look at current legislation that is coming down the pike there are actually in favor of using drones, but it's simply regulated. Most cities will simply ask you to get a license to be able to drive one, you are aware of others while using, it can't leave your field of vision, can't go over 500', and you can't fly it at night.
It's actually an FAA regulation. It's fairly generous for most of us, as few of us are going to be flying drones past 500 feet above ground and we mostly prefer to have line of sight on them. So it's a good thing for the hobbyist - and certainly better than no right to use.

The residential list includes a project on Block 365 for the Leon Capital Group. That's the only one I don't know about.

Only if anyone asserts them.

This thing's not even going to START until Spring 2016? And it's half-subscribed already? Some new residents are going to get mighty impatient.

Actually those are on the ballfield side of the street.

I hope they keep that original Sears signage. Some of that old '50s style will look good with a small updating.

It takes only $50 million to build a half-decent wrap with 300 units, so figure it's enough money for 1800 units.

I didn't see it, but I would not be surprised if it was somewhere.

For some time, the Philadelphia/New Jersey area has been attracting biotechs. Some of Houston's more promising startups have pulled up stakes and moved there.
