Now that the midterms are over, I'm willing to bet we finally see some movement on this project in the coming months.

Looks like Ace Hardware is gone. I searched for 3805 N Main St but didn't see any mention on HAIF. Do we have any idea what is going here?

Image or video url links from Facebook and Instagram expire. Instead of hotlinking, it's best to save or upload photos or videos from those platforms to image hosting services.Makes sense. Thanks.

You're welcome.
Mods @Triton @Highrise Tower @Urbannizer @jmancuso, please merge this with the ongoing topic about the 120 Westheimer property where this is located:

Mods can this topic be moved to Near North and merge any other posts made about it. @Highrise Tower @Urbannizer @Triton
Edit: I put it here before the "Near North" topic had been created.
Talked with a worker who said they were in no way affiliated with White Oak Music Hall. It opened on Friday 7th, Oct. They don't make any food but plan to have rotating food trucks show up.
That's actually a point I clarified a few weeks ago. Black Page is not related to White Oak (although they are leasing the land from White Oak). So, the truth of the matter is that Black Page should become it's own topic and moved to the Northside topic. And possible White Oak Music Hall should be moved there too, again as it's own topic.

Quality Feed is moving and Avenue will be building a multi-family complex here.
QuoteIn place of the original Quality Feed will be a housing development by Houston-based nonprofit Avenue, which has several multi-income housing projects in the Near Northside. Plans for the land have not been finalized as Avenue seeks funding for the project, according to Darla Berry, the nonprofit's vice president for development and communications.

This is seriously starting to look like Pacific Rim. Like we're doing everything in our power to wall off the monster that is the Embassy Suites Kaiju.

Got a notice in the mail today that this branch is closing on December 16th. Perhaps changes are in store for this intersection in the near future...
Got the same and was just about to make a thread about it. lol Definitely something is happening here for Chase to give up a branch location.

Wow, surprised we never updated this.
It's fully open and the parking lot has always had a good deal of cars so it seems to be a success!

Recently came on the market. With this being so close to the new Holiday Inn hotel and White Oak Music Hall, seems like quite a bit of potential here.

@hindesky this is part of the development with White Oak Music Hall. There are posts about it in that thread dating back to 2016 along with the other places that are part of this: Raven Tower and Sideout.
A link to search results showing this:
https://www.houstonarchitecture.com/haif/search/?q="black page"&quick=1&updated_after=any&sortby=newest
Also, news about this being part of the overall development that includes White Oak Music Hall:

Mods, please merge with existing thread for White Oak Music Hall.

@Urbannizer @TritonI've talked to the owner of this project. He claims he is in no way associated with White Oak Music Hall.

I think it may be a multi-phase project. Notice how after the address it says “BLD 1”.
Right. Sounds like they are going to build a bunch of Related buildings.
