Why don't they just raise tolls, like they did to those of us who use the Sam Houston Tollway? Or would the developers in Ft. Bend County not approve?

ExxonMobil has a number of buildings on Buffalo Speedway, and I think none of them are marked with signs. Most are near Richmond.

Texas A&M University Bonfire Memorial

I'm fine with your spirituality just as long as you understand that you have no right to force it down everyone's throats. I think the bonfire tradition is silly, but I believe in personal liberty so I won't oppose anyone's right to do it. You cannot always protect people from themselves. However, I do think the school should not have anything to do with this, nor should they allow it on school property. It's a liability issue, and I believe they just payed a sum of money to the dead students' families. -
I wish they would stop with the town squares. These places look like movie sets, not walkable urban cities.

The city should crack down on all the trucks cutting through the city. We have all of these loops for them to use.

He makes some interesting points, but like many people, he comes from a viewpoint that his city (Los Angeles) is the of what a city should be. I don't see Los Angeles as a mature, self-aware city like he does. It's grown, but its fractured - and this had led to some secession movements within parts of it. And our commutes aren't as bad as theirs, however our population is only a fraction of that city's.

Blockbuster makes the studios release "family-friendly" cuts of the films, so Netflix is the most reliable way to make sure you actually are watching the film you rented.

It was kind of funny when the power went out at Reliant Stadium. The stadium is named after the power company, after all.

They should resurrect the Houston-Galveston Inturban railway. Galveston's growth just won't happen without Houston.
