Choices for next mayor...I will see Sylvia Garcia probably as the next mayor of Houston.

The Jaime Kennedy show on MTV had an episode of him doing a commercial with Mattress Mac in Houston during the NBA All Star Weekend. I see that the commercial gets airtime once in a while.

Ok guys, if MTV's the Real World ever came to Houston, where would the "real world" house be located at? Neighborhood? Where would you see the perfect setting for this show?

Whatever happened to Channel 2 Sports Chris Wragge? Wasn't he married to that playboy playmate Victoria Silvstedt?

I don't if other people have mentioned, but there was a former anchor of Channel 11 that is now in ESPN.

Last year I was up in the Philadelphia area at my company's headquarters for training. One night I was watching the local news on the ABC station and a report came on from Nydia Han, who used to be a consumer investigator here at KTRK-13. I didn't even know she was no longer in Houston until I saw her on the news in Philly.

More trivia: Chris Wragge, Channel 2 Sports was an Entertainment Tonight host and is married to playboy playmate Victoria Silvsdtedt.

Do you guys remember the Mr. Norman commercials? Had "Is the man you can trust" commercials with a Nerdy type guy with glasses face on the corner of the commercial just speaking of all the services of this company.

Here's an interesting book in progress about the Buffalo Bayou. Probably the first movie ever filmed in the Houston area is mentioned here. It was a silent film that came out in 1924 called "North of 36" and was filmed on what became Cinco Ranch.

From what I've heard, Howard Hughes was born in a house in Eastwood, part of the East End Houston.

I thought Starbucks didn't franchise....so it said on there site a couple years ago. That's why I bought some stock, I haven't really kept up with the company

Well hopefully a Starbucks coffee comes in to these areas. I heard that they are tearing down Northline Mall and turning into a retail strip center. Hopefully Starbucks becomes one these retail stores.

I as a professional, have grown up in the Northeast Houston and want to stay living in the inner city. I just hope one day the Northeast Houston will get the attention that other inner parts of the city have been getting lately.

How come there is no Starbucks in the Northline area or in the mid to lower income level areas? Everyperson, regarding of income likes coffee.

Don't worry. I'm in 77012. Across the bayou from Mason park. On Woodvale. Way back towards the end. I have an awesome view of the bayou and the park.

Hi everybody...I've noticed that you guys were talking about a McMansion on Fulton and Calvacade intersection. Well let me tell you this, that house is small compare to a "true" MANSION that is almost fully built on GULF BANK ( the house is located between Airline and Hardy Toll Road).

If any of you guys want to see this montrous house, please go see it and tell me what you think. Let me give you an idea on how big of house this is....the house that is found on the Fulton and Calvacade intersection (Lindale Park) is the size of the "guest house" found on the premises of this HUGE MANSION located on Gulf Bank. Again this house is found between Airline and Hardy Toll Road on Gulf Bank.

I've been to Dubai so many times...what an awesome city when it comes to Architecture....Dubai makes the whole USA look like a childrens playground. Dubai has vision, uniqueness and creativity behind architecture of all of their buildings.
