I meant 2978. It's pretty ridiculous that you can see the back of houses in AB but those people can't get out through that way.

I'm sure it can...remember that people in Lakewood Forest, Cypress, Klein, Tomball and Magnolia would go to it also.

We lived in Memorial NW when I was in grade school. Champion Forest wasn't extended yet. It was great living there as a kid. I saw the house we lived in (2.5 K sq ft 2 story, 5 br, 3 bath) on har.com for 175K last year. Very underrated IMHO. I think being next to Gleanloch Farms has made the prices drop.

Are you sure it isn't Willow Creek? There isn't any available space at that intersection. Especially with Silverado opening up.

there was a problem with $$$$. I heard they were unhappy about the time the project was taking. My friend's husband is a doctor that works with them.

TW HEB at Market Street is NOT considered a CM. Sorry you made the drive but it's just listed as Six Pines HEB. They just offer several CM items and have expanded selections. It is the best thing out here for organic/natural until Wild Oats opens up.

Yeah that's my dentist. Dr. Preston Cutbirth. I think he's high up on the Magnolia Chamber of Commerce. I can understand the reason for wanting The Woodlands in the name because its going to be right between Kuykendahl and Research Forest when they push through TW. Alden Bridge is right behind it! There are plenty of businesses NOT in TW that have TW in their name.

I heard that this YMCA will be a satellite location. I also heard it won't be on the scale of the Shadowbend and Ashlane Way YMCAs. On another note, The Woodlands does go across 2978 a little bit. Maybe they will put something else there when the parkway goes to 249. It also goes across 1488 near where Kuyk. might expand across. Interesting. The page stated that the pkwy will be 3x3 also. Wonder when that will happen? They just finished that expansion at the end. That curve was dangerous for awhile.

We don't currently live in The Woodlands (right next to) but we are in the same Boy Scout district. My son is a Cub Scouts and they are primarily done by school to keep the boys together. I know Awana is done by churches. We do meet a church though. They don't have anything to do with the running of the Boy Scouts.

Yeah I'm sure there are. There are probably some parents who are so busy they don't have time for their kids. I was just saying that the reasons the schools are rated so good isn't because of people not getting involved with their kid's education.

I am going to be a teacher. I can tell you that the majority of the reasons these schools are good is because of parental support. No teacher can do their job if the parents don't do their part. I don't know where you live but from what I've seen and heard from friends who are teachers in TW, your "stop and drop" remark is way off based with the schools here.
