  1. I'm going to tell y'all like it is. The only way I see Texans beat Cowboys is they come out on fire. The Texans must at lease have 10-14 points ahead of Dallas to have any shot on winning. If Dallas scores first, or get 14 points ahead of Texans, thats closed book. The reason why, cause Texans don't have a defense to stop them, and the offense is inconsistent. But, I hope Texans pulls off a win, somehow. They picking Dallas by 12. My pick is Texans by 3, or 10. But, if we were betting. My bet is on Dallas by 14, or 17 points.
  2. I was right all along. But, every time I get on this thread the dates keeps on backing up. First, y'all said this spring, October, now it's November. Next, someone going to say ground breaking in 2007. This really is a laughing matter.
  3. Thw Woodlands is a great place to hang out at. I don't see why these people on here trying to bash Woodlands? I just don't get it. The Woodlands have everything you want, and the homes there are just lovely, with beautiful scenary. Like Pineda said, Woodlands Mall is a money making machine. Not only the mall, but the town center and market street plays a big role also. Taking the Water Taxis to each destination, as I'm snapping pictures. One of my dreams is to live in the Woodlands one day, to raise a family there. I have other places in mind, but Woodlands is my first. Pineda, do you know when they going to brake ground on the Waterway? It suppose to be somewhere near Town Center.
  4. You know Trill, the Texans is not going to lay down for the Cowboys. I know the Texans have problems, but they just not going to say here Cowboys.
  5. Yea, it was a tip ball. If the receiver didn't slip, he should've caught it.
  6. Playing close is really not good when you have a defense like the Texans, I wouldn't do that if I was Kubiak. Putting to much pressure on your D is not good, for instance look what happen in the late fourth when Culpepper was driving down the field. Miami was a very weak team, so is Texans. The game was boring and the commericals didn't help. I've heard the announcer called Mario a "Big Gorilla."
  7. I'm glad for Mario's first sack today against the Dolphins, and their first win of the season, but I wouldn't brag about it. Culpepper drove down the field and scored, should've got the two points if the wide receiver didn't slip. If I was the Texans, I be happy they finally won, but I wouldn't brag on this win. Enjoy the moment now while it last. Furthermore, I mention they will be 0-4 during bye week, guessing I was wrong on that point. I admit it. The Texans really do need this bye week.
  8. I have some inside scoop on 2007 schedule from a friend of mine that works with the Texans. Here it goes... Raiders Buccaneers Broncos Saints Chiefs Bengals Falcons Panthers Dolphins Chargers And of course our division... Colts Jags Titans
  9. BETS ON! The bet is $20 on Miami wins Sunday. If I lose I will wire you the money, or mail it. In order to place a bet you must write in capital letters, BETS ON. We could start at $5 on up to $20.
  10. Did y'all know the Texans are #1 in the NFL for overpaying their players? Yes, it's true. So, I came up with a ideal for owner Bob McNair. Instead of paying high price dollars to players make them work for it, meaning... for every catch wide receivers make that's $100,000, for every touchdown $100,000 more, that's $200,000. Same thing goes for your linemen's on defense and offense. If David Carr doesn't get touched that's $200,000 for each O-lineman. For every pass completion Carr makes that's $200,000. Every first down a runningback makes that's $50,000, for every touchdown $100,000+. For defense. Everytime a defender sacks the quarterback that's $100,000, an interpection $100,000, run for a touchdown $100,000 addition. Same thing goes for the secondary. If Bob McNair enforce this, I bet you that no one will never touch David Carr again, and Carr will break records in every game with pass compeltions. Everybody will be on the same page then I promise you that. Defense? Mario Williams will get off his butt and make tackles, and sack some quarterbacks. Reason I came up with this ideal because these players getting overpayed, and none of them deserve it. Why pay Mario Williams $54 million and $24 million signing bonus? This guy is only what, 22 years old? Do you know what this does to a kid that is 22 years old with all that money? Relaxed! This man worried about spending his money, he careless if they win or loss, same thing goes for Carr. Carr deserves at least $20 million, nothing more.
  11. What? Mario Williams didn't even made a single tackle, not even touch the quarterback. The only thing he's touching is his wallet, the money he get's every week. Yeah, he's a rookie. Still, show some heart, show some talent out there on the field. So far, he showed me nothing but an overrated player that making millions of dollars doing nothing. Do you listen to John McClain SportsTalk? He even said the same thing I'm saying. The Texans spent millions and millions of dollars on defense, and still the laughing stock in the NFL. I know what I'm talking about, cause everyone of my predictions came true about this laughing stock team. In each game the Texans scores at least twice. The reason why they scored more then twice against Colts, cause they pulled out their first string D. David Carr, needs to sit his ass on the bench and let it stink in for about 2-3 games, with his fumbling butt. This man still act like he's back in College. If this team want to score more, pull out Carr and put in Sage. But no, they not going to do that. A $8 million bonus man on the bench, while a $2 million bonus man making plays on the field. They rather lose all their games and not put in Sage.
  12. It was a bad mistake by picking Mario Williams. This man haven't got near a quarterback since he put on pads. The Texans is stinking up Reliant Stadium. The cruse continues ladies & gentlemen, and it's not going to get better anytime soon. As gas prices goes down, so do the Texans.
  13. I guess y'all seen today's game? Really, I have no comments about this team. I told you before, and I say it again. Carr do not play all 4 quarters, the defense sucks so much I close my eyes when they come on the field. So far, my prediction has been on target. They're 0-3, and will be 0-4 during bye week.
  14. Thanks for the advice, Gary. But, I know I've been hard on the Texans these pass two years, and their playing the same like their first year. Therefore, I must say that they still have a shot into the postseason. If Kubiak could get this team in the groove and beat these two games coming up, I really think they have a shot. But, quite sure they will screw it up. That defense needs to be clean up. I thought they would be twice as better then last year, but it looks like last year D looks better. I think they played better more as a team. The offense on the another hand could hold it's on ground, but Carr needs to play all 4 quarters instead of half-assing out there certain quarters. It all starts with the quarterback on offense, and D-line on defense.
  15. What is the Houston Pavilions website? Because the website I'm looking at don't tell me when is groundbreaking. Is this the right website... http://www.houstonpavilions.com/home.php
  16. Here is the remaining games... Washington <--- must win Miami <--- must win Dallas Jacksonville Tennessee Giants Jacksonville Bufflao Jets Oakland Tennessee New England Indianapolis Cleveland Now, the only way I see the Texans making it to the postseason is... they MUST sweep Tennessee. Beat Jacksonville once, or sweep them. Indianapolis? We might as well count that as 2 loses. Have to beat Cleveland, Bufflao, Oakland, Miami, Redskins and Dallas. So far, that's 9 games. Everything starts with this game coming up, the Redskins, and next weeks game against Miami. If the Texans loses these two games, they in for a long hard road ahead. If the Texans don't progress, they maybe looking at 4-12 (same record as expansion team). The upside of it, they could be looking at 10-6 record (postseason wild card, IF they play their cards right). Like I said, they must win these two last games before bye week. Oh, I like to add. Tennessee may have the #1 draft pick next year, cause I can't see them winning no games. They play Miami Sunday. If they lose that game, they maybe looking at 0-16, or 2-14 the most.
  17. Yes, it is true. I don't care who's in the backfield, if that O-line is not blocking. But, Lundy was making things worst. As a runningback you must have runners insticts, if a hole is close bounce out and go to the next one, or make a hole. Lundy doesn't have that yet. Like I said, maybe next year (if he's not traded). Beating Washington is going to be a hard task for the Texans. They need to get into a rhythm really fast and stop half-assing out there. Carr need to play all four quarters, and not only a first half, or vice versa. Carr reminds me of a off and on switch. He's up one qaurter, down the next two, then try to impress the fans by showing movement in the fourth. Mr. Carr, in order to be a great quarterback and a leader you must first contibute to all four quarters. Right now, you haven't done that yet. If the Texans lose against Redskins, look for Sage to play against his old team, the Dolphins, or against Cowboys.
  18. Everytime I say someething about the Texans comes true. Kubiak mentions today press confernce that Wali Lundy may not be the starter for this weeks game against Redskins. Ron Dayne projected to be the starter, and Gado looking better every week will see more action this week. I told y'all about Lundy before, this guy doesn't show me he could be a starter for the NFL. He plays like a 3rd string back. Maybe he'll be better next year, if he be around.
  19. Yes, I know that also, TJones. But, I like to keep certain things to myself, cause if you post it on here people tends to throw it back in your face. But, the Gunslingers did change ownership. Let's not make this a Houston Gunslinger thread. Let's keep it as, Houston Texans.
  20. Break down on Redskins vs. Texans game... As we all know both teams are 0-2, and both are hungry for a win. Redskins defense: As I looked at their defense against the Cowboys Sunday night. They hardly didn't show any signs of blitzing, but their secondary is pretty aggressive. Redskins Offense: Mark Brunell, is still consider is good quarterback in this league, he's a lefty and has weapons to throw too. Randel El, Santana Moss, Portis (will play against Texans). Redskins offense is pretty tricky. Texans Defense: Ummmm, that's a big ummm. Their defense might have some problems against Redskins offense. They might hold off the running, but the secondary needs major help. If the Texans lose this game, blame it on the secondary. Texans Offense: If the O-Line holds their blocks, I think Carr could get almost 300+ passing yards against Redskins defense. Their running game still have to show me more. Ron Dayne (the Great Dayne) and Gado have to pound that defense line, weaken them, then open it up for the passing. On the other hand, Lundy? He still have alot to learn, he's just a rookie. I would drop him down to 3rd string and make Ron Dayne the starter, with Gado as backup. I also like to add, this will be Eric Moulds and Andre Johnson biggest game IF they play their cards right. Bottom line: This might be a slugfest. Back to back touchdowns. I think whomever have the ball last will win the game. On the edge, I have to give it to the Redskins by 3.
