  8. From a person living in Woodland Heights. Lloyd and I took the dog on a walk as we often do after dinner, around 9 Wednesday. When we were 2 blocks north of the house there were two guys hanging out and on their phones. At first I thought "oh no I shouldn't have turned". They just didn
  9. The bollards should start to go up sometime next week starting with the 1100 block of Nicholson since they have had so many problems with people parking on trail and grass. After the bollards are complete, TXDot plans to do one more planting/spraying of grass....I would assume within 2-3 weeks it would be safe to start planting. Also, I have heard that the Heights Association is working with the Urban Forestry Dept and several other business to help to plant additional trees/landscaping on the trail (although this effort may take some time). The last I heard was that TxDot was only planning on planting around 150 trees.

  16. the Heights is always a good choice as far as gay friendly goes. There are 4 gay couples on my street including myself and we all interact, hang out and get along with other neighbors. The gay thing is really a non issue. As far as schools are concerned, I don't think you have anything to worry about until high school.
  17. I have heard that Waterhill is in bankruptcy. They were constructing 60+ units in the Heights at 8th and Waverly. they completed 8 or 10 units (very poorly) and there are about 12 other units that have set there for several months half complete. I feel very sorry for the current owners.
