  3. HTXO Hiking - Huntsville State Park November 12 - 9:45 AM - 1:00PM Huntsville State Park 565 Park Road 40 west Huntsville, TX 77340 Huntsville State Park is one of our favorite places. It is shaded, a bit cooler and not nearly as many bugs as my back yard. I guess they did a better job of figuring out the ecosystem than I did with my DIY garden. J We will hike the Chinquapin Trail. It's about 6.5 miles in total with little evalation. Some parts are sunny but mostly you are walking through the woods around Raven Lake. Bring plenty of water and snacks for the hike. You might want to bring a sandwich for lunch as well. We'll take a coule of breaks along the way. There is a $5 per person entry fee if you do not have a state park pass. RSVP at http://bit.ly/2fnoZh1 Additional info call 210-504-8333 or e-mail to amyhope@htxoutdoors.com
